Associate Clinical Editor – Remote

About the role

The Associate Clinical Editor will review, update, and revise nursing‑focused content, ensuring it remains accurate, evidence‑based, and aligned with current clinical guidelines. Working remotely, you will collaborate with a Clinical Editor and internal teams to support content needs for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Review and revise assigned content according to scheduled and triggered review cycles, customer requests, and emerging healthcare updates.
• Ensure all content complies with evidence‑based practice guidelines and standards.
• Manage project timelines, meet deadlines, and maintain quality standards.
• Respond to basic clinical inquiries from Customer Success and Service teams, supporting the JIRA ticket process as needed.
• Participate in team meetings and stay informed about updates from professional nursing organizations.
• Perform additional duties assigned by Patient Engagement leadership.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with an active, unencumbered license.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum three years of recent clinical nursing experience.
• Experience authoring or writing healthcare content and developing educational materials is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with learner‑centered, adult‑learning, health‑literacy, and plain‑language principles.

Required skills

• Strong writing ability with excellent grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using JIRA for ticket tracking.
• Willingness to leverage generative AI tools to improve efficiency.

What we offer

• Fully remote, full‑time position with standard daytime hours (approximately 9 am–5 pm ET).
• Competitive base salary ranging from $71,600 to $119,400 per year (geographic differentials may apply).
• Eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.
