About the role

El Abogado, a well‑established law firm in the heart of New Orleans, is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join its team. This full‑time, on‑site position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of traffic, criminal, and personal injury matters while delivering high‑quality legal services to a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients across traffic, criminal, and injury cases.
• Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, and other legal documents.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategy.
• Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court proceedings.
• Manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Recent graduate holding a J.D. degree.
• Active license to practice law in Louisiana.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to prioritize and handle several cases at once.
• Commitment to legal ethics and professional conduct.
