Assistant/Associate/Full Professor – Business School

About the role

The Miami Herbert Business School (MHBS) at the University of Miami is seeking four tenured or tenure‑track faculty members at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Professor. The appointments focus on strategic areas such as Finance, Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Healthcare, Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Sustainability, with a preference for scholars who can span multiple domains.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the identified strategic areas.
• Conduct high‑impact interdisciplinary research and publish in top‑tier journals.
• Secure external research funding and build partnerships with industry and the Miami innovation ecosystem.
• Mentor graduate students and contribute to departmental service and governance.
• Enhance the visibility and reputation of MHBS through scholarly activities and community engagement.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in a relevant discipline (e.g., Finance, Computer Science, Data Science, Healthcare Management, etc.).
• Strong record of scholarly publications and evidence of research excellence.
• Ability to work across multiple strategic areas and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to teaching excellence and student mentorship.
• Experience engaging with industry partners and contributing to community outreach.
