Assistant/Associate Professor of Finance (Tenure-Track)

About the role

The Department of Accounting and Finance at UW‑Eau Claire seeks a dynamic candidate for a probationary tenure‑track faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in Finance. The appointment begins in the 2027/2028 academic year and focuses on delivering high‑quality teaching, maintaining an active undergraduate program, and contributing to scholarly research.

Key responsibilities

• Teach assigned finance courses at the undergraduate and MBA levels using classroom, online, or hybrid formats.
• Conduct research and scholarly activities that meet AACSB expectations.
• Provide academic advising to finance students.
• Participate in departmental, college, and university service and committee work.
• Engage with the broader community through service activities.

Required profile

• Doctorate in Finance or a closely related field completed by 1 December 2027.
• Demonstrated capacity for high‑quality teaching (e.g., teaching evaluations).
• Legal authorization to work in the United States from the first day of the contract.
• Evidence of scholarly activity and the ability to bring diverse perspectives.
