Assistant Superintendent – Broward County

About the role

D.R. Horton, the largest homebuilder in the United States, is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support the Superintendent on a community job site in Broward County. You will help ensure homes are built to quality, schedule, and safety standards while delivering excellent customer service to homeowners.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect each home daily for workmanship quality and compliance with plans and specifications.
• Schedule and accompany all inspections, and walk completed homes before homeowner walk‑throughs.
• Conduct homeowner orientations, address walk‑through items, and coordinate repairs.
• Assist in managing subcontractors, monitoring quality, safety, scheduling, and cost control.
• Enforce site safety programs and D.R. Horton cleanliness standards.
• Help manage construction materials to prevent damage, waste, and theft.
• Support the construction schedule to deliver homes on time and within budget.
• Maintain positive relationships with subcontractors and homeowners.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• 6 months to 2 years of related construction experience.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between sites.
• Ability to work overtime and additional hours as needed.
