Assistant Store Manager – Retail

About the role

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in delivering an exceptional retail experience for Levi's, Dockers, Denizen and Signature brands. This role leads the store team, drives sales performance, and ensures operational excellence while upholding brand standards and sustainability values.

Key responsibilities

• Assume full store responsibility in the absence of the Store Manager or Associate Store Manager.
• Develop and coach the team on company culture, product knowledge, service standards and loss‑prevention policies.
• Partner with the Store Manager to create and execute business strategies that meet or exceed sales and performance goals.
• Recruit, interview and recommend new hires; manage minor employee‑relation issues and deliver performance feedback.
• Oversee payroll, cash handling, bank deposits, register opening/closing and inventory control.
• Lead visual merchandising efforts to maintain store presentation and housekeeping standards.
• Adopt and champion new technologies, policies or programs rolled out in the store.
