Assistant Site Manager - VR Experience, Denver

About the role

Fever, a tech platform for culture and live entertainment, is hiring an Assistant Site Manager for a VR experience at York Street Yards in Denver. Reporting directly to the General Site Manager, the Assistant Site Manager supports and sometimes substitutes for the Manager across guest services, staff leadership, budgeting and operational optimization. The role balances day-to-day execution with long-term initiatives such as community partnerships and brand visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Hire, train and schedule staff through the local agency, lead shifts and coach the team
• Oversee facility upkeep and troubleshoot technical and mechanical issues, escalating to vendors when needed
• Train staff on launching guests into the experience, check VR headsets at the start of each morning, and master guest registration, onboarding and group combinations
• Maintain technology health: cleaning routines, charging protocols and software updates
• Act as first point of escalation for guest concerns and build relationships with community partners, suppliers and corporate stakeholders
• Assist with budgeting, payroll auditing and expense management
• Manage box office, retail sales, inventory and retail stock, and handle invoices, meeting notes and progress reports
• Take part in strategy sessions, debriefs with the Site Manager tracking on-site KPIs, and brand-building outreach

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in operations, hospitality, retail, live entertainment, franchise management or a related field
• Understanding of budgeting, expense control and retail operations
• Leadership, planning and organizational skills, able to handle multiple priorities
• Comfortable standing for long periods; reliable transport and flexible schedule (evenings, weekends, holidays)
• Preferred: comfort with basic tools (hammer, drill), experience maintaining mechanical or technical equipment, or past production/event experience
