About the role

Tarleton State University seeks an Assistant Professor on a tenure‑track appointment to teach and conduct research in Real Estate within the Department of Accounting, Finance & Economics. The position is based on the main campus in Stephenville, Texas, and contributes to the university’s mission of innovative teaching, scholarly impact, and community service.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Real Estate, finance, and related subjects.
• Develop and maintain an active research agenda leading to publications in reputable journals.
• Participate in departmental service, curriculum development, and university committees.
• Engage with students through advising, mentorship, and extracurricular activities.
• Serve as a Campus Security Authority as required by university policy.

Required profile

• Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated potential for high‑quality teaching and scholarly research.
