About the role

The University of Maryland Eastern Shore invites applications for a full‑time, twelve‑month, tenure‑track Assistant Professor position in its Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program. The role combines teaching, scholarship, and service within a vibrant, research‑active department.

Key responsibilities

• Teach core and elective courses in therapeutic exercise, disability communication, PT testing, prosthetic rehabilitation, and clinical judgment.
• Develop and maintain an active scholarship agenda, including research and clinical activities.
• Coordinate courses, supervise labs, and contribute to departmental and community projects.
• Participate in professional service and university committees.

Required profile

• Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy with an advanced certification credential.
• Current licensure as a physical therapist.
