Assistant Professor of Management/Leadership

About the role

The College of Business Administration at Texas A&M University‑Central Texas seeks a tenure‑track Assistant Professor in Management/Leadership to begin in Fall 2027. The position involves teaching undergraduate and graduate leadership courses, both on‑campus and online.

Key responsibilities

• Teach three courses per term in face‑to‑face, online, or hybrid formats, with a focus on fully online delivery.
• Develop and deliver leadership‑related curricula at undergraduate and graduate levels, including courses such as organization development, cross‑sector partnerships, and global leadership.
• Maintain scholarly activity to meet AACSB “scholarly academic” classification, including research, consulting, or professional certification.
• Participate in departmental, college, and university service committees after the first year.

Required profile

• Terminal doctorate in management, leadership, or a closely related field from a regionally accredited university.
• Eligibility for AACSB scholarly academic faculty classification.
• Documented success teaching leadership courses, including fully online formats.
• Ability to engage a diverse, non‑traditional, first‑generation, and military‑affiliated student body.
