Assistant Professor of Management

About the role

The College of Business at Texas A&M University‑San Antonio invites applications for a full‑time, tenure‑track Assistant Professor of Management starting Fall 2026. The position involves teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Human Resources, Organizational Behavior, and related management topics, while maintaining an active research agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Teach 3 courses per semester (with possible reduced load in the first two years).
• Develop and deliver courses in both on‑campus and hybrid/online formats.
• Conduct high‑quality scholarly research and publish in reputable business journals.
• Participate in departmental service and university committees.

Required profile

• Ph.D. or DBA in Management (ABD candidates considered if completed by August 2026).
• Specialization in Organizational Behavior or Human Resources.
• Minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in each teaching area.
• Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and service.
