About the role

The Department of Urology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine seeks an Assistant Professor of Clinical Urology. This full‑time faculty appointment involves direct patient care, inpatient consultations, and participation in the department’s educational mission.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical care to adult inpatients and outpatients in the university faculty practice and satellite clinics.
• Deliver inpatient consult services at the University of Miami Hospitals and Jackson Memorial Hospital.
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows through conferences, bedside teaching, and formal curricula.
• Contribute to the department’s research and quality‑improvement initiatives as appropriate.

Required profile

• Medical Doctor (M.D.) from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an approved urology residency program.
• License or eligibility for a Florida medical license.
• Board‑certified or board‑eligible in urology.
