Assistant Professor - Entrepreneurship

About the role
The School of Business at Eastern Washington University seeks a tenure‑track Assistant Professor in Entrepreneurship to begin September 16, 2026. The role combines high‑impact teaching with a strong research agenda in entrepreneurship or related fields.
Key responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and MBA entrepreneurship courses, both in‑person and online.
- Develop and continuously improve curriculum using innovative pedagogical methods.
- Conduct and publish high‑quality research in peer‑reviewed journals.
- Advise and mentor a diverse student body.
- Participate in student learning assessment and departmental service.
- Engage in university, college, and professional community service activities.
Required profile
- Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrated potential for scholarly research and a clear research agenda.
- Commitment to excellence in teaching and curriculum development.
- Ability to deliver courses in both in‑person and online formats.
- Willingness to contribute to departmental, college, and university service.
