Assistant Nurse Manager, Operating Room Circulator (Evenings)

About the role

AdventHealth is hiring a full-time Assistant Nurse Manager for the Operating Room Circulator Evening shift in Littleton, Colorado. The role covers circulator nursing duties and includes supervising nursing staff, monitoring performance and implementing improvement plans.

Key responsibilities

• Perform venous access procedures within the scope of RN licensure, ensuring proper technique and patient safety
• Administer and monitor infusion therapy treatments, adjusting care plans based on patient response
• Assess patients' conditions to choose appropriate venous access methods and address complications
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for venous access and infusion therapy
• Educate patients on venous access and infusion therapy
• Monitor nursing staff performance, give feedback, run appraisals and implement improvement plans

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required; additional licensure or certification may apply depending on unit or state
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required; 1 year of charge nurse or relevant leadership experience preferred
• Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Full-time evening shift

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
• Leadership, critical thinking and business management of the unit, including productivity and financial practices
• Mentoring and counseling, excellent written and verbal communication
• Basic computer skills, including experience with an electronic health record
