About the role

JEM Restaurant Group, a Taco Bell franchisee, is hiring an Assistant General Manager in North Charleston, SC. The AGM supports the Restaurant General Manager in leading daily operations, scheduling staff, managing inventory and ordering, and training and developing the crew. The annual salary range is $50,000-$60,000.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant General Manager and act as their right-hand leader, stepping in when they are away
• Ensure smooth shift execution and maintain compliance with health and safety standards
• Manage labor and food costs to support strong financial performance
• Hire, train, mentor and schedule team members
• Resolve guest concerns and deliver an exceptional customer experience

Required profile

• Prior food service or retail management experience
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
• A positive attitude and a passion for great food
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
