About the role

The Assistant General Manager will lead daily operations at Postcard Cabins Piney Woods, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while driving profitability. Reporting to senior leadership, you will uphold brand standards and foster a positive work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate front desk, housekeeping, reservations, guest service, security, and maintenance teams.
• Maximize Average Daily Rate (ADR) and occupancy levels.
• Facilitate communication between sales and operating departments.
• Motivate, coach, and train department supervisors.
• Interpret financial statements, manage budgets, and enforce staffing guidelines.
• Control schedules, expenses, and implement cost‑saving initiatives.
• Develop and apply policies, procedures, and systems to improve operations.
• Oversee the safety program, including training, reporting, and incentives.
• Maintain a cooperative and positive workplace culture.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in hotel operations.
• Experience with major brands such as Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, or Hyatt.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and staffing guidelines.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high guest satisfaction scores.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing operational policies.
• Commitment to safety programs and continuous improvement.
