Assistant General Manager – Fast‑Food Restaurant

About the role

Join KFC in Waterville, ME as an Assistant General Manager and help deliver exceptional guest experiences while developing your leadership skills in a fast‑paced restaurant environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, train, schedule, and coach team members to maintain a positive work environment.
• Deliver excellent guest service and resolve issues quickly.
• Oversee daily operations, including inventory, cash handling, and policy compliance.
• Maintain food quality, preparation, and presentation standards.
• Enforce safety and cleanliness standards for guests and employees.
• Manage labor and food costs to maximize profitability.
• Anticipate and resolve challenges that arise during shifts.

Required profile

• At least one year of experience as an Assistant General Manager in food service or retail with profit‑and‑loss responsibility.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Availability to close the restaurant at least two nights a week.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand and walk for entire shifts, and operate restaurant equipment.
