Assistant Director of Business Operations

About the role

The Assistant Director of Business Operations supports the Associate Athletic Director of Business & Internal Operations in managing the day‑to‑day financial and logistical functions of the athletics department. This full‑time, onsite position ensures smooth procurement, travel, revenue processing, and cash handling for the university’s athletic programs.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee procurement, purchasing, and travel arrangements for the athletics department.
• Manage deposit and cash collection activities, ensuring accurate revenue processing.
• Create purchase orders, process invoices, and maintain compliant financial records.
• Coordinate departmental inventory, asset tracking, and equipment/uniform operations.
• Collaborate with the business office to support budgeting and financial reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in financial operations, procurement, or athletic administration.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
