Assistant Director, Digital Enablement

About the role

The Assistant Director of Digital Enablement provides strategic and operational leadership for digital solutions consulting, engineering, and training, with a strong focus on AI enablement across the university. Reporting to the Director of Digital Solutions and Global Client Experience, this hybrid role bridges campus needs and IT capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead integrated digital solutions consulting, engineering, and training functions, defining service offerings and ensuring consistent delivery.
• Develop and manage the university’s AI enablement program, creating roadmaps, governance models, and adoption metrics.
• Oversee solution engineering activities, translating business needs into scalable, maintainable digital solutions using enterprise platforms.
• Design and deliver training and enablement experiences that drive adoption of digital and AI‑enabled tools.
• Establish metrics, monitor trends, and continuously improve service models based on data and feedback.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, Education, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in digital solutions consulting, engineering, training, or digital transformation.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams and strong executive‑level consulting skills.
• Experience enabling adoption of AI tools and platforms, including training and solution design.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and change‑management abilities.
