Assistant Data Visualization Analyst

About the role

The Assistant Data Visualization Analyst will support data analytics initiatives within the ENMED program at Texas A&M University. Working on a temporary, fixed‑term basis, you will help collect, clean, and analyze datasets to inform research and educational projects.

Key responsibilities

• Establish machine‑learning pipelines for image segmentation and analysis on the GPU cluster.
• Document pipeline implementations for use by ENMED students.
• Assist with data systems management, integration, and performance monitoring.
• Identify and implement improvements to existing data workflows and system capabilities.
• Conduct statistical analysis on small to medium datasets to uncover trends and patterns.
• Apply basic data mining, data modeling, and natural language processing techniques to interpret data.

Required profile

• Interest in data analytics and visualization within a research or academic environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, students, and technical staff.
• Strong attention to detail when handling data cleaning and documentation tasks.
