Assistant Construction Superintendent – Commercial Projects

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Assistant Construction Superintendent to support field operations on commercial construction projects in the Phoenix market. You will work closely with the Lead Superintendent and Project Management team to keep ground‑up office, healthcare, and industrial projects on schedule and within quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with daily field operations, jobsite coordination, subcontractor management, and site logistics.
• Monitor project schedules, track milestones, and support efficient trade sequencing.
• Conduct daily site walks to enforce OSHA safety policies, quality control, and productivity.
• Coordinate material deliveries, staging, inspections, and punch‑list closeout activities.
• Review construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications to track and report jobsite issues or RFIs.
• Maintain detailed daily reports, progress documentation, and project photos.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in commercial construction field operations.
• Background on commercial ground‑up or tenant‑improvement projects preferred.
• Solid understanding of construction methods, blueprint reading, scheduling, and trade sequencing.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
