Assistant Community Manager – The Porter Brewers Hill

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager at The Porter Brewers Hill in Baltimore. The role focuses on the financial and operational management of the residential community, ensuring accurate accounting and timely rent collection.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees and other resident payments, prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile accounts.
• Process invoices, vendor payments and maintain accurate Chart of Account coding using Yardi/OneSite.
• Prepare monthly close‑out financial reports and assist with budgeting.
• Review resident files for delinquent balances, communicate with residents and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Handle resident move‑out procedures, deposit refunds and lease termination fees.
• Support eviction processes in accordance with company policies and represent the community in court hearings when required.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple financial transactions accurately.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with residents, vendors and internal teams.
• Experience in residential property accounting or related field.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Yardi or OneSite property management software.
• Fundamental accounting and bookkeeping knowledge.
• Ability to generate and analyze financial reports.
