Assistant Community Manager – The Madison

About the role

The Assistant Community Manager supports the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of The Madison, a stabilized garden‑style community of 460 units in Charlotte, NC. This full‑time position handles day‑to‑day accounting tasks, ensures accurate rent collection, and maintains the community’s financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other payments daily.
• Prepare daily bank deposits, dispositions, and account reconciliations.
• Process invoices for payment and assist with monthly close‑out procedures.
• Generate financial reports and assist in preparing monthly financial statements.
• Utilize property management software to record, track, and report all financial transactions.
• Support the Community Manager with operational tasks and weekend rotations as needed.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented individual able to support the Community Manager in financial operations.
• Willingness to work a Monday‑Friday schedule with rotating weekends.
• Strong organizational skills for handling multiple accounting tasks.
