Assistant Athletics Director for Equipment, Olympic Sports

About the role

The Assistant Athletics Director for Equipment will manage the athletic equipment rooms for Olympic sports under the direction of the Associate Athletic Director for Equipment Operations. The position requires a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and travel with teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of equipment rooms, ensuring proper inventory, maintenance, and distribution of gear.
• Supervise equipment staff, coordinate procurement, and enforce NCAA and Pac‑12 equipment regulations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience as an athletic equipment manager or attendant at a collegiate institution.
• Ability to work flexible hours, lift equipment over 50 lb, and interact professionally with diverse individuals.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of sports equipment, facilities needs, and procurement practices.
• Proficiency with computerized inventory programs, email, and Microsoft Excel.
