Asset Integration Engineer – Aviation Data & Analytics

About the role

As an Asset Integration Engineer you will act as the technical bridge between Skywise, Airbus' digital services platform, and global aviation partners such as Delta TechOps, GE Aerospace, Collins Aerospace and Liebherr. You will help integrate predictive maintenance models into Skywise to improve safety and sustainability of worldwide aviation operations.

Key responsibilities

• Build and enhance the model integration pipeline, automating data workflows for efficient integration.
• Provide technical support to partners, assisting them in retrieving aircraft data and integrating their maintenance models.
• Design and automate data pipelines that transform disparate datasets into high‑signal models.
• Research R&D topics independently, proposing AI/ML solutions and scalable technical architectures.
• Participate in weekly global partner discussions and occasional travel for collaboration.
• Contribute to product vision through technical discussions, documentation, and sustainability initiatives.

Required profile

• Basic understanding of aircraft systems, sensors and the parameters they generate.
• 2+ years of experience or equivalent Master’s‑level expertise in data engineering or related fields.
• Analytical mindset with a passion for investigating data sets.
• Strong communication skills in English for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Curiosity to propose new AI/ML opportunities and conduct autonomous research.
