Asset & Data Steward, U.S. Development
Taco Bell · Irvine
Job description
About the role
The Asset & Data Steward supports Taco Bell's U.S. Development team by keeping asset data and documentation accurate, complete, accessible and maintained throughout the restaurant lifecycle. The role sets data and document standards, strengthens Development processes and works with business and system owners to close information gaps across new builds, replacements, remodels and other asset actions. It also supports Development tools and provides a reliable information foundation for reporting, asset strategy and portfolio planning.
Key responsibilities
- Independently manage U.S. Development asset records, files and repositories across new builds, replacements, remodels and other asset actions, with minimal guidance.
- Establish and apply data-quality standards, naming conventions, required fields, documentation requirements, lifecycle controls and tracking tools.
- Lead routine audits and resolve complex data and documentation issues by turning them into clear steps, work plans, ownership and follow-through with partners.
- Own and improve asset-information handoffs at key Development milestones, anticipating risks that could delay schedules.
- Develop and improve SOPs, process maps, user guides, FAQs and training resources.
- Serve as a point of contact for Development tools and processes, resolving issues and recommending practical solutions.
- Represent the asset and data stewardship area on cross-functional projects and deliver analysis-ready information for reporting and portfolio planning.
Required profile
- 3-5 years of experience in data stewardship, document management, business systems, process improvement, Development operations or a related field.
- Ability to organize and maintain large volumes of data and documentation across multiple projects, systems and stakeholders.
- Experience documenting business processes and creating SOPs, process maps, job aids, user guides or training materials.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and collaboration across functions.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship; visa sponsorship is not provided.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365
- Experience with databases, reporting tools, document repositories, workflow platforms or similar business technologies
- Restaurant Development or asset-management experience is a plus
