ASO Manager - BIG Franchise

About the role

New Moon Production is looking for an ASO Manager to own and scale its global store presence across the BIG games portfolio. This is a 12-month freelance engagement, with the option to extend depending on business needs. The role takes full ownership of App Store, Google Play, Samsung and Microsoft store performance, driving organic growth and conversion rates worldwide, and works closely with UA and Product.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end ASO strategy and run a continuous CRO testing backlog (A/B tests, store-page experiments) informed by creative and competitive analysis, using CPP/CSL to tailor journeys by campaign and segment.
• Lead store page localization and culturalization, and shape a cohesive franchise-level store identity across the portfolio.
• Track platform feature releases and roll-outs, evaluate participation in platform growth and loyalty programs, and monitor algorithm, guideline and regulatory changes.
• Drive keyword research, clustering and metadata creation, use AI tools to scale semantic expansion and sentiment analysis, and optimize for AEO, SEO and GEO.
• Collaborate with UA and Product on full-funnel alignment, spot quick wins, report KPIs regularly, and oversee review and rating management.

Required profile

• 4+ years of hands-on ASO experience, ideally in mobile gaming; casual or simulation game experience is a strong plus.
• Proven growth in store visibility, keyword rankings and organic conversion rate across global markets.
• Deep understanding of mobile gaming audiences and trends.
• Balance of analytical rigor and creative intuition.
• High AI affinity: has built and tested AI-assisted workflows (keyword research, metadata, review sentiment) and can show the improvements achieved.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ASO and analytics platforms such as AppTweak, Sensor Tower, SplitMetrics or similar.
• Experience with platform program enrollment decisions is a strong plus.
• Review management experience is a plus.
