About the role

Amazon’s Rapid and Rural Logistics (R2L) division is seeking an Area Manager for its Rural Super Rural (RSR) team. You will lead hourly associates in a remote‑delivery environment, ensuring safety, quality, productivity and on‑time customer deliveries.

Key responsibilities

  • Support, mentor and motivate a team of hourly employees.
  • Manage safety, quality, productivity metrics and customer delivery promises.
  • Collaborate with Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and HR to develop plans that meet business objectives.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule, including 10‑hour overnight shifts on a front‑half or back‑half roster.
  • Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 49 lb, standing, walking, climbing stairs and working in variable temperature environments.

Required profile

  • Minimum 2 years of employee and performance management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2 years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
  • Willingness to work flexible, weekend and overnight shifts.
  • Ability to perform physical duties described above.
