Architectural Project Associate

About the role

We are a nationwide commercial architectural firm seeking an Architectural Project Associate with strong Revit and CAD experience, especially in retail design. You will work closely with project managers and clients to deliver high‑quality construction documentation and support the design process from concept through construction.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in coordinating and preparing construction drawings for bid, permit, and client review.
• Produce and revise design development and presentation drawings.
• Conduct code and permitting research, attend site surveys, and prepare survey drawings and reports.
• Respond to comments from external drawing reviews and manage punch‑list items.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing consultants and client vendors.
• Maintain clear communication with clients and ensure compliance with design standards.

Required profile

• Professional commercial experience, specifically in retail design.
• Professional degree in Architecture.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit experience is a plus.
• Basic experience with rendering software.
• Excellent oral and written communication and customer service skills.
