Architect – Design Buildings That Matter

About the role

Iskalo Development Corp. is looking for a talented Architect to join its in‑house design team. You will work on a varied portfolio that includes new construction, historic rehabilitation, mixed‑use, hospitality, and tenant‑improvement projects, collaborating directly with development, construction, leasing, and property‑management teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts and design solutions for new builds, renovations, adaptive reuse, and tenant improvements.
• Prepare construction documents – plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules, and specifications.
• Create 3D models, renderings, and presentation materials to support project planning.
• Coordinate with consulting engineers, contractors, code officials, and other stakeholders throughout design and construction.
• Conduct site visits, monitor progress, and resolve field issues.
• Support permitting, code review, construction administration, RFIs, and submittals.
• Manage multiple projects while maintaining quality, accuracy, and schedule adherence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• 3–7 years of architectural design experience.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Working knowledge of building systems, construction methods, and applicable codes.
• Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and project‑management abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally to project sites.
