Applications Engineer – Automotive ADAS

About the role

Bosch is seeking an Applications Engineer to serve as the primary technical liaison between Bosch and automotive OEMs, supporting the integration of advanced mobility technologies and ADAS solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Work hands‑on at customer sites to integrate and validate cutting‑edge mobility and radar technologies.
• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical, electronic, and software issues, especially those involving CAN systems.
• Conduct physical testing in laboratory and field environments, including daily interaction with test vehicles.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations and reports for internal engineering teams and external stakeholders.
• Provide field feedback to global cross‑functional teams to improve automotive technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in mobility‑based controls/systems engineering with CAN expertise.
• 1+ year experience with automotive OEM applications and processes.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Required skills

• Experience with radar portfolios (Long‑Range, Mid‑Range, Short‑Range, Corner Radar) and ADAS functions (ACC, AEB, LKA/LCA, BSD, RCTA, APA).
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, CANalyzer, C++, Python.
• Knowledge of automotive safety standards such as ISO 26262.
• Vehicle‑level calibration of RF technologies and digital key applications.
• Familiarity with automation tools and sensor integration.
