Applications Analyst

About the role

The University of Miami’s Division of Development and Alumni Relations is seeking a full‑time Applications Analyst to support data‑driven fundraising and engagement initiatives. The analyst will serve internal stakeholders by delivering accurate data extracts, supporting system upgrades, and ensuring high‑quality reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Fulfill data requests for mailing lists, donor rolls, demographic and giving analyses using appropriate tools.
• Perform quality checks on all data outputs and ensure accuracy.
• Assist with user acceptance testing during system upgrades, implementations, or migrations.
• Test and validate deliverables such as reports, lists, and application upgrades.
• Gather and document business requirements and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Design, create, and maintain application and business‑process documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned while adhering to university policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience in a service‑oriented role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Knowledge of Blackbaud CRM is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented, able to react quickly and maintain professionalism in a fast‑paced environment.
