Application Developer

About the role

The Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS) is seeking an Application Developer to join the Centre 360 team. This platform powers the public reservation system for the panoramic experience atop the David N. Dinkins Municipal Building and serves thousands of New Yorkers each month.

Key responsibilities

• Support, maintain, and enhance the Centre 360 reservation platform.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly, especially during peak reservation periods.
• Design and implement new features based on business requirements and visitor feedback.
• Write clean, scalable code and participate in peer code reviews.
• Collaborate with senior developers, QA engineers, and business analysts to ensure high‑quality releases.
• Provide development support for other critical citywide systems managed by the DCAS IT team as needed.
