Application Developer

About the role

Entergy Services is looking for an Application Developer to join an agile scrum team focused on next‑generation AI‑enabled customer‑facing systems. You will design, build, test, and maintain high‑quality software while collaborating across multiple teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy custom applications using Python, JavaScript and modern frameworks.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and monitoring tools.
• Conduct code reviews, pair programming, and technical discussions to share knowledge.
• Identify and resolve software defects promptly and provide status reports.
• Research new technologies, AI frameworks, and performance‑optimization techniques.
• Coordinate technical dependencies across teams and influence architectural decisions.
• Guide junior engineers in best practices and modern development methods.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 4+ years of software engineering experience with increasing responsibility.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence peers and adapt to changing priorities.
