Senior DevOps Engineer – Engineering Management Specialist

About the role

Deloitte's AI & Engineering team is seeking a Senior Engineering Management Specialist with deep DevOps expertise to drive the design, deployment, and optimization of AWS‑based platforms for government and public‑service clients. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure reliable, secure, and high‑performing cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, manage, and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure, including self‑managed and non‑self‑managed Red Hat OpenShift clusters.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab Runners to automate build, test, and deployment workflows.
• Monitor platform health, performance, and security with observability and security tools, addressing reliability issues promptly.
• Administer a wide range of AWS services such as AWS Batch, Secrets Manager, SNS, S3, CloudTrail, Route 53, CloudFront, Application Load Balancer, Lambda, and Step Functions.
• Collaborate with development, quality engineering, and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot, improve processes, document solutions, and support ongoing platform enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years of DevOps experience supporting AWS environments.
• 1+ years of experience provisioning and managing cloud environments.
• Strong ability to work independently, lead projects, and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, meticulous attention to detail, and professional demeanor.
