About the role

RentMonster is seeking a motivated Apartment Locator to join its leasing team in Birmingham. You will help match qualified residents with apartment communities and earn commissions based on successful leases.

Key responsibilities

  • Advertise available apartments online and promote listings on social media.
  • Drive prospective residents to multiple properties, conduct tours, and assist them in selecting a new home.
  • Respond quickly to leads via calls, emails, and texts, converting them into leases.
  • Brainstorm and implement new marketing ideas to attract renters.

Required profile

  • People‑oriented, enthusiastic about living in Birmingham and helping others.
  • Urgent and versatile – able to act quickly on new leads and shift between tasks.
  • Professional appearance, good driving record, and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Required skills

  • Proficient use of computer and smartphone.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter.
  • Ability to walk large properties and navigate stairs during tours.
