About the role

The Animal Research Post Approval Monitor Specialist (PAM) supports the University of Arkansas’ commitment to responsible animal research by overseeing compliance after project approval. This full‑time, regular position is based on the Fayetteville campus and reports to the Research Compliance office.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor post‑approval activities of animal research projects to ensure adherence to institutional, state and federal regulations.
• Document compliance findings and communicate any issues to investigators and oversight committees.
• Maintain accurate records of approvals, amendments, and monitoring reports.

Required profile

• Current University of Arkansas System employee (including student employees or graduate assistants) eligible to apply through Workday.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently within a research compliance environment.
