Android Software Engineer - Applications

About the role

As an Android Software Engineer on the Vehicle OS team, you will design, build, and maintain advanced Android applications that enable next‑generation vehicle intelligence. You will work closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver reliable, high‑quality features at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality Android applications for in‑vehicle experiences.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to turn concepts into production‑ready features.
• Optimize app performance, stability, and quality through best practices, code reviews, and continuous improvement.
• Integrate applications with Applied Vehicle OS to ensure seamless end‑to‑end functionality.
• Contribute to technical standards, architecture discussions, and sprint planning.
• Stay current with Android development trends and tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of experience developing Android (or iOS) applications.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Android application development.
• iOS application development (optional experience accepted).
• Integration with Vehicle OS platforms.
