Analyst II, Financial Planning

About the role

Terumo Neuro is hiring an Analyst II, Financial Planning in Aliso Viejo, California. The role works closely with the FP&A management team to provide insightful analysis, build financial models and support strategic decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management reporting and assist in month-end close.
• Develop and maintain financial models, KPIs and forecasts.
• Support the annual budgeting and long-range planning process.
• Collaborate with department leaders to gather and analyze financial information.
• Help prepare presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives and projects.
• Identify and implement process improvements for the FP&A function.
• Comply with laws and regulations, quality management system requirements and ethical standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum four years of professional experience in finance or accounting, or an MBA/advanced degree with at least two years of relevant experience.
• Sound understanding of accounting and finance principles, with excellent analytical and conceptual skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to meet strict deadlines.
• Effective verbal, written and listening communication and presentation skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems and experience with EPM systems.
• Proficiency with the MS Office Suite.
• Desired: relevant advanced degree such as an MBA or certification (e.g. CPA, CFA); strong SAP and Hyperion proficiency is a plus.
