Alcohol Compliance Representative

About the role

Legends Global is looking for an Alcohol Compliance Representative for The Mann Center in Philadelphia. Working under the direction of management, the representative ensures responsible service of alcohol throughout the venue in line with State and company policies and helps staff with alcohol-related issues.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the serving of alcohol by event-day staff
• Ensure staff follows Legends' and state/local alcohol service policies
• Observe and document alcohol-related issues or violations
• Maintain the nightly alcohol cut-off time and make sure it is clearly communicated to staff and guests
• Monitor all employees' adherence to the Legends Alcohol Policy
• Assist with alcohol cut-off and perform other duties assigned by management
• Interact with guests and staff to ensure guest satisfaction

Required profile

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Able to read, speak and write English
• Punctual, dependable and able to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
• Personal hygiene and well-groomed appearance in line with company and venue standards
• Sufficient mobility for production tasks such as standing, reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing and pulling for long periods
• Meets state and local health requirements for alcoholic beverage services
• Required RAMP certification (can be provided by Legends upon hiring if necessary)

Required skills

• Ability to work all venue events and keep a flexible schedule, including extended hours, days, nights, weekends and holidays
• Ability to work in an open-air environment in all weather conditions
• Basic knowledge of customer service standards, guest relations and etiquette preferred
• Ability to listen to and take direction from management
