About the role

Under the direct supervision of faculty, the Air Conditioning Lab Assistant supports classroom instruction and maintains the air‑conditioning laboratory environment. The position is semester‑based and may require morning, afternoon or evening hours, Monday through Thursday.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare and perform routine air‑conditioning laboratory work following detailed procedures.
  • Maintain and inventory lab equipment and supplies, ensuring safety compliance.
  • Assist faculty with student supervision, tutoring, and classroom instruction.
  • Clean labs and procure necessary texts and materials.

Required profile

  • Successful completion of courses related to Air Conditioning Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and lift equipment up to 25 lb.

Required skills

  • Air Conditioning Technology knowledge.
  • Laboratory equipment maintenance.
  • Safety procedures for HVAC tools and equipment.
