AI Program Manager

About the role

Moog’s Global IT function is seeking an AI Program Manager to lead the AI Enablement Center’s portfolio. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer and working in a hybrid schedule in Buffalo, NY, you will translate steering‑committee strategy into executable roadmaps and ensure disciplined delivery of AI initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Translate approved strategy, investment thresholds, and portfolio allocation into an actionable AI Enablement Center (AEC) roadmap and operating cadence.
• Own intake, prioritization, and sequencing of initiatives across all AI model types (M1, M2, M3).
• Run the AEC’s portfolio governance rhythm, including status reporting, risk/issue tracking, resource allocation, and stage‑gate reviews.
• Monitor enterprise AI performance and ROI, consolidating results for steering‑committee reporting.
• Maintain a rolling two‑to‑three‑year roadmap that supports strategic planning without replacing it.
• Identify and escalate cross‑group conflicts, duplicate initiatives, or resource constraints early.
• Partner with operating‑group leads to align local use‑case prioritization with enterprise guardrails.
• Maintain a lightweight intake and governance process that accelerates delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• At least eight years of program or portfolio management experience, preferably in technology, digital transformation, or innovation.
• Proven ability to drive prioritization discipline in fast‑moving, resource‑constrained environments.
• Strong executive reporting and synthesis skills, comfortable presenting to senior governance bodies.
• Preferred PMP, PgMP, or equivalent program‑management certification.
• Willingness to work onsite in the Buffalo, NY area or relocate.
