AI Content Optimization Specialist II

About the role

The Knowable AI Content Optimization Specialist II will translate complex legal reasoning into production‑ready large language model (LLM) workflows that power contract intelligence at scale. Working with legal subject‑matter experts, product managers, engineers and data scientists, you will design AI‑driven solutions that extract structured data from contracts and deliver reliable, evidence‑grounded outputs.

Key responsibilities

• Define high‑impact LLM use cases for contract intelligence, including structured data capture and failure pattern recognition.
• Translate legal reasoning into LLM artifacts such as prompt architectures, output schemas and evidence‑grounded extraction requirements.
• Partner with engineering and data‑science teams to move AI capabilities from prototype to production.
• Convert reviewer guidance, clause libraries and data models into LLM‑compatible specifications.
• Design approaches for handling ambiguous clauses, negotiated variants and edge cases.
• Build evaluation frameworks covering accuracy, completeness, hallucination detection, evidence validation and consistency.
• Integrate AI capabilities into operational workflows and support adoption, training and performance monitoring.
• Serve as an AI‑fluent legal domain expert contributing to governance, documentation and release readiness.

Required profile

• Experience in legal practice, contract review, contract intelligence, legal technology or legal operations.
• Demonstrated fluency with AI and LLM tools, including prompt design, structured outputs, grounding strategies and model evaluation.
• Experience deploying LLM‑powered workflows into production environments.
• Prior experience with contract analytics or contract intelligence platforms.
