Advisory Solutions Consultant - Enterprise

About the role

SailPoint, an AI-driven security platform, is looking for an Advisory Solutions Consultant (pre-sales Solution Engineer) to support the US Southeast sales regions for Enterprise accounts. You will partner with the sales teams by combining technical ability and business acumen to support SailPoint's growth.

Key responsibilities

• Take an active part in the sales process and work closely with direct and channel sales teams
• Discover customer requirements and align SailPoint solutions to them
• Present SailPoint's business functions, value and competitive differences
• Deliver product demonstrations to prospective customers
• Help develop RFP responses with the RFP response team
• Take part in onsite and remote Proof of Value (POV) evaluations
• Give feedback to Product Management on product enhancements

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience as a pre-sales technical resource in an enterprise software company (B2B)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Preferred: 3+ years working with Identity, Governance and Access Management solutions
• Preferred: BA/BS or global equivalent and 8 years of related experience
• Residence in a major Texas city is required; about 25% travel and flexibility to travel within the US (mainly the Southeast) is needed

Required skills

• Working knowledge of technical infrastructure: web services, application servers, databases, virtualization and directories
• Familiarity with modern SaaS architecture
• Desirable: Java, XML, LDAP, SQL, JSON, Azure/AWS/GCP
