Advisor II – Health Supply Chain for CIHS Project

About the role

The Advisor II, Health Supply Chain supports the Continuity of Integrated Health Services (CIHS) project across Guinea, Liberia, Mali, and Togo. This remote‑global position provides strategic guidance, technical assistance, and capacity building for supply chain management to align with host‑government priorities and donor requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement project‑wide supply chain strategies, standards, tools, and best practices, and represent CRS at regional planning meetings.
• Provide technical assistance to country teams and host governments on commodity quantification, procurement planning, inventory management, logistics, warehousing, and last‑mile distribution.
• Support digital health initiatives, improve LMIS data quality, and ensure effective use of Oracle ERP systems for supply chain operations.
• Monitor supply chain performance metrics and KPIs to drive continuous improvement and accountability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive international supply chain, logistics, or procurement experience.
• Fluency in English required; French highly desirable.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office and information management systems.
• Experience with Oracle ERP (or similar) for supply chain operations.
• Technical expertise in procurement, inventory control, warehousing, and logistics.
• Knowledge of digital health solutions and LMIS data management.
