About the role
The Advancement Engagement Officer will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of university events that boost community engagement, support regional economic development, and raise the institution’s visibility. This role also supports student leadership initiatives and the annual giving program, working closely with advancement staff to cultivate donors and drive participation‑based fundraising.
Key responsibilities
- Design, organize, and manage university events, handling budgeting, logistics, vendor relations, catering, AV, registration, and post‑event stewardship.
- Direct the annual giving program, including donor engagement strategies, Giving Day campaigns, and participation‑based fundraising.
- Oversee student leadership programs that promote professional growth and campus representation.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems, generate reports, and analyze engagement data for strategic planning.
- Represent the Office of Advancement at alumni, donor, and community events.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- At least two years of experience in event planning, fundraising, or related advancement work.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Required skills
- Proficiency with event management software.
- Experience using constituent relationship management (CRM) systems.
