Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) – Gynecology II

About the role

Cleveland Clinic Health System seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its Gynecology team at Florida Weston Hospital. The role involves delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care in both outpatient and surgical settings.

Key responsibilities

• Perform annual gynecological exams, preventive care, and in‑office procedures.
• Provide surgical first‑assist in the operating room and manage peri‑operative care.
• Interpret lab, imaging, and diagnostic results and develop treatment plans.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care.

Required profile

• Current licensure as an NP (RN license required) or PA in the applicable state.
• Graduate of an accredited APRN program or A.R.C. approved PA program.
• Basic Life Support certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support or Neonatal Resuscitation may be required.
• Ability to work day‑shift schedule with limited after‑hours call.

Required skills

• Surgical first‑assist techniques.
• Gynecologic examination and procedural skills.
• Interpretation of laboratory and imaging results.
• Basic and advanced life support certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP).
