Advanced Practice Provider – Gastroenterology (Inpatient/Outpatient Hybrid)

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System seeks a nationally certified Advanced Practice Provider to deliver gastroenterology care across both inpatient and outpatient settings at Euclid Hospital. The position splits time evenly between the two environments and offers a day‑shift schedule with limited weekend and holiday coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outpatient office visits, rectal exams, interpret diagnostic tests, and collaborate with supervising physicians.
• Triage and manage inpatient consults, coordinate imaging/endoscopy, and provide on‑call support for GI diagnoses and treatments.
• Perform and interpret routine laboratory, radiologic, and cardiographic procedures as credentialed.
• Prescribe and monitor medications within state and Cleveland Clinic policies.

Required profile

• New graduates are welcome; ideal candidates have gastroenterology, ICU, or ED experience.
• APRN: MSN required within 3 years of hire; PA: graduate of an A.R.C.‑approved program with a master’s degree.
• Current licensure as NP, PA, or CNS in the applicable state(s) and relevant national certification.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as required by the work setting.
• Credentialing and privileging by the Medical Executive Committee.
