Advanced Practice Provider – Emergency Medicine (NP/PA) with Sign‑on Bonus

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join the Emergency Medicine team at Lutheran Hospital in the West Submarket. The position offers a sign‑on bonus for eligible candidates with at least three years of emergency medicine experience.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain comprehensive medical histories, perform physical examinations, and order appropriate diagnostic tests.
• Interpret laboratory, radiologic, and cardiographic results to develop diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Prescribe and monitor medications in accordance with state licensure and Cleveland Clinic policies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during rounds, discharge planning, and quality monitoring.

Required profile

• Graduate of an A.R.C.-approved Physician Assistant program or a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
• Current licensure to practice and prescribe in the state, DEA registration, and certification as a Physician Assistant (NCCPA) or Emergency Nurse Practitioner.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and at least one advanced certification (ACLS, PALS, NRP, or ATLS).
• Credentialed and privileged by the Medical Executive Committee of the applicable hospitals.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Ability to perform and interpret common laboratory and imaging studies.
• Advanced assessment and diagnostic skills in emergency medicine.
