Advanced Practice Provider – Dermatology Manager

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Dermatology Department seeks an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to lead a team of APRNs and PAs. This full‑time position combines direct patient care with strategic management responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the APP practice across multiple service lines, ensuring patient access and fill rates meet enterprise metrics.
• Hire, orient, train, and evaluate APP staff, conducting annual performance reviews and productivity monitoring.
• Develop and implement departmental policies, competencies, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide clinical care as an APRN or PA within dermatology, adhering to privileges and licensure requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience as an APRN or PA in dermatology.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience (at least one year).
• Graduate of an accredited APRN or PA program with appropriate licensure and certifications (BLS required; ACLS, PALS, or NRP may be required).
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and critical‑thinking skills.
